About the role:
As the Senior Client Manager, you will be the primary liaison for a diverse range of clients, which will be a pivotal function. You will be preparing annual returns, providing strategic advice and providing strategic business advice while ensuring tax compliance.
As part of your daily duties, you will be responsible for:
- Managing a diverse portfolio of clients with precision and care.
- Preparation of financial statements and all statutory requirements for your client portfolio
- Coordinating taxation compliance including year-end income tax and FBT reporting and ongoing GST lodgments
- Bookkeeping, monthly/quarterly reporting and payroll functions
- Preparation of detailed taxation advice in respect of various issues, for example, small business CGT
- Various forensic accounting tasks, including loss of profit calculations
- Preparation of indicative business valuations
To be successful for the role you will have the following attributes:
- 4 + Years experience in a similar role, ideally within a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm
- Relevant degree and CA or CPA qualified
- Excellent investigative, problem-solving and highly developed analytical skill set Proven private tax and accounting experience with relevant technical knowledge
- Clear and articulate communication skills
- Demonstrated organisational skills, analytical skills and attention to detail
