About the Role: 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to join the Melbourne team, supporting our clients Real Estate & Construction division. You will be involved in opening new files, managing diaries, preparing legal documents, coordinating property searches, and liaising with clients. Monthly billing, document preparation for DocuSign, and general administrative duties will also be part of your role. 
 

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Open new client files and maintain accurate file management
  • Coordinate and order property searches, ensuring timely processing
  • Manage diaries and schedules for partners, organising appointments and meetings
  • Prepare and issue documents and correspondence for signing via DocuSign
  • Handle monthly billing and client invoicing processes
  • Liaise with clients to provide updates and manage communications
  • Provide general administrative support as required, ensuring smooth office operations
  • Assist with the preparation and organisation of legal documents
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience as a Personal Assistant
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and colleagues
  • Experience in property law is advantageous, but a strong willingness to learn new skills is essential
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced and growing team
