About the Role As the General Manager for this development, you will oversee the operations of 425 apartments and approximately 700 residents, managing a highly complex and fast-evolving environment. Your role will require you to balance the needs of residents, the operational demands of the property, and the commercial objectives of the business. You’ll lead a team, engage with residents, and oversee various aspects of property management, leasing, and marketing, all while driving operational efficiencies and enhancing the overall living experience. Key Responsibilities People and Culture
  • Lead by example to uphold company values and ensure operational excellence in daily property functions
  • Oversee resident engagement initiatives and foster a positive living experience
  • Manage the on-site team, including recruitment, performance reviews, and training
Relationship Management
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders, including residents, suppliers, and contractors
  • Conduct regular site inspections and maintain a visible presence on-site
  • Serve as the main point of contact for external partnerships and collaborations
Property Management
  • Manage financial outcomes, budgets, and retention strategies for the property
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including leasing, maintenance, and ancillary revenue
  • Ensure adherence to residential tenancy agreements and property regulations
  • Lead the leasing team to meet targets and ensure exceptional resident experiences
Key Competencies
  • Proven experience in property management at a senior level (3 years+)
